Mouth Guards

A Mouth guard is a protective device that covers the teeth and gums to prevent injury to the teeth, lips, cheeks, tongue and jaw. It is most often used to prevent injury in contact sports like rugby, boxing etc; but facial impacts may occur in other sports as well. Ideally mouth guard should be worn playing every type of sport in all age groups as dental injuries are costly, painful and permanent.

We at Meola Dental make customised mouth guards which are individually desgined and constructed to suit your needs. We never recommend boil and bite mouth guards as they are quite ineffective and unsafe.
